There is a new MSI gaming laptop the GT683DX. Powered by a 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM processor, the system packs a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 LED-backlit display, a GeForce GTX 570M 1.5GB graphics card, four DDR3 memory slots, up to two 750GB hard drives or one 120GB SSD, a webcam, a Blu-ray drive, a card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, 2x USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, a 9-cell battery and runs on Windows 7 Operating System. Unfortunately there is no more information about its releasing date and price.
Clock-for-clock, Intel's processor cores have been gruntier than AMD's for several years now. That's a critical issue in the context of mobile machines running at lower frequencies.
